Who knows but that which seems omitted today waits for tomorrow?

If something in your life needs to done, It will not happen unless

You get it started ... or changed ... or stopped ...

In the autumn I gathered all my sorrows and buried them in the garden. When April returned and spring came to wed the earth, there grew in my garden beautiful flowers unlike all other flowers. My neighbors came to behold them and they all said to me, "When autumn comes again, at seeding time, will you not give us the seeds of these flowers that we may have them in our gardens? (Kahlil Gibran)

No one needs a smile so much as he who has none to give.

If we want to find a miracle in our life, I suggest we start by looking for a problem. That's where God would start. (Harry Wilkins, Jr.)

My smile was like a snowball rolling downhill. As the snowball rolled, it gathered more snow along the way ...My smile which at first seemed so small, grew and grew because ... soon all who saw me began to smile too.

A fool will curse the darkness ...

A wise man will light a candle.

Ambition and love are the wings to great deeds.

Really, it is not our past defeats that make us desperate. It is the fear of the consequences of those defeats which we must face tomorrow, and in days to come.

Stress can become a source of strength in our lives. We can turn the unwelcome intrusions that threaten us into tremendous possibilities for our good.

Three things that make life worthwhile ...

1) A cause to believe in.

2) A love to care for.

3) A dream to strive for.

Keep your face to the sunshine ...

And you cannot see the shadow.

There's a time to part

   and a time to meet.

There's a time to sleep

   and a time to eat.

There's a time to work

   and a time to play.

There's a time to sing

   and a time to pray.

There's a time that's glad

   and a time that's blue.

There's a time to grin

   and show your grit.

But there never was

   a time to quit!

       Harry Wilkins, Jr.

The world alters as we walk in it ...

Be kind ... Remember everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle.

It never ceases to amaze me that the exact same reality can become a heaven or a hell, based on how I view things and what I do about them.

The past of itself can have no power over us that we will not allow it to have. We learn from the past. We learn by our mistakes and by our accomplish- ments. Each generation of the human family builds on the accomplishments of the past and then surpasses them. Man has taken years and years to get where he is, and there is no limit to where or how much further he can go. But we do not advance by living in the past. Only by using it as a stepping stone can we go forward (Author unknown).
